Lanka Salt Cuts Prices - 400g Pack Now Rs. 100

COLOMBO (News 1st); Lanka Salt Ltd. has announced a reduction in retail prices for several of its salt products.

The price cut was confirmed by the company’s Chairman, D. Nandanathilaka.

According to the announcement:

The price of a 400g packet of iodized mixed salt powder has been reduced from Rs. 120 to Rs. 100.

A 1kg packet of crystal salt has been reduced from Rs. 180 to Rs. 150.

Additionally, through Sathosa outlets, consumers will be able to purchase:

A 400g packet of salt for Rs. 90.

A 1kg packet of crystal salt for Rs. 140.

The price revision is expected to benefit households across the country.
