INS Rana arrives at the Port of Trincomalee

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Indian Navy's INS Rana arrived at Trincomalee Port on an official visit, this morning.

It was officially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy upon its arrival at the Trincomalee Port.

The ship belongs to the Rajput class and measures 147 meters in length.

The ship has 300 crew members onboard.

During its stay in the country, the ship’s crew is scheduled to participate in training and sports programs organized by the Sri Lanka Navy to strengthen the naval friendship between the two countries.

The ship is scheduled to depart the island on the 14th of August.
