CMG hosts the Governor-General of Australia at Stein Studios

The Capital Maharaja Group (CMG) hosted Her Excellency The Honourable Ms. Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, during her 5-day visit to Sri Lanka, at Stein Studios in Ratmalana.

The Governor-General is the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. 

This is the first visit by a Governor-General of Australia to Sri Lanka.

HE Hon. Sam Mostyn engaged in a vibrant discussion on the topic of “Leadership in a Modern and Multicultural Democracy” in an exclusive interview with Chevaan Daniel, Group Director of the Capital Maharaja Group, that is to be telecast shortly.

During her visit to Sri Lanka, the Governor-General met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, and members of the Cabinet.

During her visit from August 6-10, the Hon. Governor General will visit a number of areas and engage in a number of activities. 

These include a beekeeping site in Bandaragama funded by Australia’s Direct Aid programme; the Tsunami Museum and Memorial in Hikkaduwa; and the launch of a mobile health unit in Galle.
