COLOMBO (News 1st); President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to embark on two high-profile foreign visits next month, with official engagements in the United States and Japan.
The President will depart for New York on September 23 to participate in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
He is expected to address the UN General Assembly on September 24.
Following his engagements in the U.S., President Dissanayake will travel to Japan.
The President’s state is at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
