COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo High Court has scheduled a hearing for September 24 in a corruption case filed against former Minister Mervyn Silva, who is accused of unlawfully acquiring assets worth approximately Rs. 150 million during his tenure in office.

The case was called today (28) before High Court Judge Sahan Mapa Bandara.

During the proceedings, legal representatives from both parties requested that the case be listed for a pre-trial conference.
