GOVPAY Goes Live In The Western Province

COLOMBO (News 1st); Motorists in the Western Province can now pay traffic fines through the GOVPAY digital platform, starting today (28), according to Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala.

Speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo this morning, the Minister announced that the system will allow drivers who commit minor traffic violations to settle fines on the spot, using digital payment methods.
