Bus Fare to Be Reduced by 2.5% from July 1st

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Transport Commission has announced a 2.5% reduction in bus fares, effective from July 1.

However, the Commission clarified that there will be no change to the minimum fare.

The maximum fare will be reduced by Rs. 54, offering some relief to long-distance commuters.
