Rohantha Abeysooriya To Court of Appeal

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Constitutional Council has approved the appointment of President's Counsel Rohantha Abeysooriya as the President of the Court of Appeal.

The approval has reportedly been sent to the Presidential Secretariat.

President's Counsel Rohantha Abeysooriya, a Senior Additional Solicitor General at the Attorney General's Department, previously headed its Criminal Division. 

He is an alumnus of Royal College, Colombo, and pursued his bachelors at the Faculty of Law of University of Colombo.
