President meets Basil for more talks

COLOMBO (News1st); President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Founder of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Basil Rajapaksa have met for another round of talks on Thursday (09) evening.

This was the sixth meeting between the duo, to discuss future political affairs.

The SLPP said the matters discussed during the meeting will be revealed to media on Friday (10).

In the meantime, the SLPP Presidential Election Operation Center is due to be declared open on Friday (10), in Battaramulla.

The SLPP said Presidential Election operations offices will also be opened in each constituency.

The SLPP said a wide campaign was prepared for the upcoming Presidential Election.
