President returns to Sri Lanka from Singapore

COLOMBO (News 1st); President Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived in Sri Lanka on Tuesday (22) night following his official visit to Singapore.

The Duty Manager of the Katunayake International Airport said the President and his delegation arrived on the island at 11.27 on Tuesday (22) night onboard a Singapore Airlines flight.

The President left for Singapore on the 21st of August, for a two-day official visit.

President Wickremesinghe met with the Singapore President, Prime Minister and Defence Minister and engaged in bilateral discussions.

A Memorandum of Understanding on carbon offset was also signed during the President's visit to Singapore.
