The finals of the Asia Cup 2023 is set to take place today at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. 

The match will be played between defending champions Sri Lanka and India. 

The Asia Cup 2023 commenced in Multan, Pakistan on the 30th of August in a grand scale with six times teams taking part. 

After winning the first two matches in the super four stage, India secured their spot in the finals of the Asia Cup. 

Sri Lanka qualified for the finals after defeating Pakistan by two wickets in the super four stage. 

India has won the Asia Cup seven times making them the best performing country in Asia Cup tournaments.

Defending Champions Sri Lanka has won the Asia Cup six times.  

If Sri Lanka wins the finals against India, they will be tied for the most amounts of wins in the history of the Asia Cup tournament.
