Fatal train collisions lead to deaths

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A collision was reported between a motorcycle and a train, traveling from Colombo to Jaffna, In Meesalai, Chavakachcheri. The incident claimed the life of a 72-year-old resident of Chavakachcheri.

The incident occurred at an unprotected railway crossing.

Similarly, at another unprotected crossing in Waraddana, a collision between a lorry and a train resulted in the death of a 38-year-old resident of Narammala, while two others sustained injuries.
