COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka's National Security Council was recently informed that various groups are carrying out a very organized agenda to spread racial tension using social media, said Cabinet Spokesperson & Minister Bandula Gunawardena on Tuesday (30).

Speaking at the weekly briefing to announce cabinet decisions, he said that the government has learned lessons from the 2019 Easter Sunday Attacks, and will take the necessary measures to address the issues.

The Minister said the government will not allow for any event or incident that would disturb the unarmed, innocent people, to take place in Sri Lanka.
