COLOMBO (News 1st) - The education system in Sri Lanka is falling behind, as paper marking of the Advanced Level examination is yet to begin, the Department of Examinations highlights.
This has seriously affected the students who sat for the examination, the Department said in a statement.
It's been over 50 days since the Advanced Level examination concluded.
The paper marking process can begin if the university teachers agree to join the paper marking, along with the rest of the teachers who have applied for the process, the statement added.
The Department of Examinations requested that the university teachers support the process, without further delaying the educational activities of the students.
