COLOMBO (News 1st) – It was game that ended in high draw, after Ghana beat South Korea 3-2 at the Education City Stadium in Doha.
Mohammed Salisu had opened the scoring and then Mohammed Kudus had doubled the lead for Ghana in the first half.
In the second half, the Koreans struck two quick goals around the hour mark to pull themselves level 2-2. Both the goals were scored by Gue-Sung Cho.
Mohamamd Kudus struck for the second time to help Ghana re-establish their lead with a second-half strike, making it 3-2 against South Korea.
South Korean manager Paulo Bento was sent off for remonstrating with referee Anthony Taylor after the final whistle.
