Peradeniya University student goes missing

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Police received a missing persons complaint over the disappearance of a third-year student of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Peradeniya.

Sri Lanka Police said that the University of Peradeniya filed the missing person complaint citing the student in question was not seen since this morning.

The university student was identified as 25-year-old Pulasthi Pramudith Perera from Ganemulla.

The University of Peradeniya had informed Sri Lanka Police that the student who was living in the university dorms was last seen on Saturday (2).

The Peradeniya Police is conducting investigations.
