Over 1,500 arrested over 9th May violence

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that 1500 people have been arrested in connection with the violent situation that took place on the 9th of May.

He further said that 152 persons have been arrested in the past 24 hours.
