COLOMBO (News 1st) -The grace period granted to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for settling loans along with the moratorium of the Parate Law will come to an end tomorrow.
This grace period applies to businesses that have obtained loans exceeding Rs. 50 million and had initiated negotiations with banks before March 31 this year, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, the SMEs with loans ranging between Rs. 25 million and Rs. 50 million will continue to receive relief under the Parate Law until September 30.
