484 pictures & 73 videos received regarding violence: Police

COLOMBO (News 1st); A total of 669 tip offs and 31 complaints have so far been reported with regard to the violent events which took place on 9th and 10th May, Police says.

Issuing a release, Police states that 73 videos and 484 pictures have also been received by them via the official channels given to send information. 

While expressing gratitude towards public for being cooperative regarding the information, Police have encouraged them to send in more details, and assures privacy of informants.
