CBSL Chief & Officials at COPE on Friday (6)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe and the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Mahinda Siriwardena, and several other senior officials have been summoned to appear at the COPE committee on Friday (6).

The Chairman of COPE Prof. Charith Herath said that they will be inquired about the performance of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and discuss the current economic situation in the country.

Meanwhile, discussions with the International Monetary Fund and the current situation in the country will be discussed in Parliament on Friday (6) as well.
