COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Minister Namal Rajapaksa said he does not see any effort being made to provide a lasting solution to the present anti-government situation.

The SLPP MP said the focus should be on building political stability, that will ensure lasting economic stability, and the present crisis did not happen overnight but was happening over time until it reached a worsening situation.

"The general public is busy protesting GotaGOHome and against the Government. The opposition is busy organizing a protest march. The ruling coalition is divided & trying to create a majority," said the Former Minister adding that in order to overcome the crises, the proper decisions need to be made.
