COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect has been arrested in Minuwangoda are for possession of counterfeit 1,000 rupee notes.

Police stated that they discovered 34 counterfeit 1,000 notes in his possession.

Following questioning the suspect, the police have also seized a computer used to print these counterfeit notes.

The 29 year old suspect has been identified as a resident of Bemmulla area.
