GL, Ali Sabry, Johnston, & Dinesh form new 4-member Cabinet

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has appointed a new Cabinet of Ministers following the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers on Sunday (3) night.

Minister of External Affairs : Professor G. L. Peiris

Minister of Finance : Ali Sabry, PC

Minister of Education : Dinesh Gunwardena

Minister of Highways : Johnston Fernando

Johnston Fernando and Dinesh Gunawardena have been appointed for the need of a Leader of the House and Chief Government Whip to proceed with the Parliamentary session on Tuesday (5).

Accordingly, Johnston Fernando and Dinesh Gunawardena will serve as the Chief Government Whip, and Leader of the House respectively.

The President's Media Division said that the Finance Minister and External Affairs Minister were appointed for operations of the country.
