Litro urges the public NOT to purchase gas at high prices

COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro Gas company urges the public to refrain from buying gas at higher prices.

The Chairman of Litro, Thisara Jayasinghe said that information had come to light that certain groups were selling gas at higher prices.

Therefore, he advised the public to obtain gas only at the prices stated by Litro.

Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder is Rs.2,675/-.

If there are retailers selling gas at higher prices, the Chairman has requested the public to inform the nearest Police, Consumer Affairs Authority, or Litro via its emergency hotline 1311.
