Family Health Officers on Fast Unto Death

COLOMBO (News 1st); 12 Family Health Service Officers are engaged in a fast unto death for the second consecutive day opposite the Health Minister.

The Chairperson of the Government Family Health Officers' Association Devika Kodithuwakku said the strike and fast was organized against the decision taken to abolish the post of Special Grade Family Health Service.
