President to chair ruling party meeting today (22)

COLOMBO (News 1st); A meeting of the ruling party is scheduled to be held on Tuesday (22) at 6.30 p.m at Temple Trees, Colombo under the auspices of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

All Political parties and Parliamentarians representing the ruling party have been summoned for the discussion, which will focus on several issues, including the shortage of oil and gas and the rise in commodity prices in the face of the dollar hike.

At the same time, the MPs from the ruling party will also meet for a separate discussion under the auspices of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
