Ranil meets new US Ambassador

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremasinghe met the new U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung on Monday (21).

The Ambassador had noted on twitter that a vibrant political opposition is vital in any healthy democracy.

She thanked Ranil Wickremesinghe for meeting with her to discuss ways the U.S. and Sri Lanka can work together to find sustainable solutions to today’s urgent economic challenges.
