COLOMBO (News 1st); The Embassy of Ukraine in India has presented its compliments and gratitude to Sri Lanka for the assistance extended to almost 800 Ukrainian nationals stranded in Sri Lanka, and had introduced a Ukraine-Colombo coordination office to extend financial, humanitarian and legal help to Ukrainian nationals in the country.
Accordingly, the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka has been requested to recognize the Ukraine-Colombo coordination office as a temporary representative office of Ukraine in India authorized to support Ukrainians until flights between the two countries resume.
