COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations says that the results of aesthetic subjects of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination will be released this week.

The Commissioner General of Examinations, L.M.J. Dharmasena stated that releasing the results of these subjects were delayed due to the delay in conducting practical examinations for the aesthetic subjects.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena said the results of the Grade 5 scholarship examination will be released in the next few days as well.

The Commissioner General of Examinations stated that the process of finalizing the results is currently underway.

The GCE Advanced Level examination is due to end on the 5th of March, while the evaluation of answer scripts commenced on the 27th of February and will last until the 14th of March.
