COLOMBO (News 1st); At the current rate, Sri Lanka may need more than $500 million to import petroleum products monthly, says Minister of Energy, Udaya Gammanpila.
In a tweet, the Minister points out that the Brent crude oil price reached $99 today, and the monthly export earnings are approximately 100$ million, out of which 75% is received by the banking system.
