Level 3 earthquake occurs in seas off Indonesia

COLOMBO (News 1st); A level 3 earthquake has occurred around 88 kilometer southwest of Labuan, Indonesia on Friday (14), the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau reports.
According to the bureau, the earthquake has taken place about 3,207 kilometers from Colombo and was recorded at 6.6 magnitude on the Richter scale.
No reports of a threat of tsunami to Sri Lanka have been released yet.
