Five men held under PTA since 2019, released

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo Magistrate's Court on Wednesday (12) released five detainees who were held under the provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism Act.

The order was made based on the recommendations of the Attorney General.

The five men were held at the Colombo Magazine Prison since 2019 under the PTA.

They were from Jaffna, Killinochchi, and Palai.
