16-hour water cut on Saturday (08)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) says that the water supply to many areas in Colombo will be suspended for 16 hours on Saturday (08) from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight.

Accordingly, the areas affected by the water supply interruption include Colombo, Dehiwala - Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha areas and Ratmalana.

The NWS&DB announced that the water supply will be suspended due to urgent maintenance work at the Ambatale water pumping station.
