Power Cut for multiple areas; Supply to be restored by 9 PM

COLOMBO (News 1st); The supply of electricity to multiple areas was disrupted following an issue in a generator at the Kelanitissa Power Plant.
The affected areas include Kotte and Mahargama.
The General Manager of the Ceylon Electricity Board said the supply of electricity will be restored by 9 PM on Thursday (6), adding that 135 MW of power was lost due to the issue.
