NO room for corruption under SJB Govt - Sajith

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has stressed that there will be no rule for corruption or malpractice under a government of the Samagi Jana Balavegaya.

"The people cast their blessings to ensure a better country is created by the politicians. However, what we see is that politicians are conducting themselves as if they own the country," said the Opposition Leader.

He said the country is tainted by fraud, corruption, state abuse, and malpractice.

"We will not allow corrupt governance to invade the Sri Lankan fabric," he stressed noting that the culture of awarding positions to the corrupt will end under an SJB government.
