Gas issue: Are the Ministers dodging responsibility?

COLOMBO (News 1st); SJB MP Mujibur Rahman demanded on Saturday (01) whether the Ministers are dodging the responsibility of the Gas issue. 

Pointing out that Litro Gas is a State-owned entity under the Finance Ministry, the MP stated that appointing officials becomes the responsibility of the Minister in charge of the subject and the President.

Speaking further, the MP questioned as to why politicians cannot bear responsibility for this, and added that they are consistently shifting the blame onto the officials and trying to trap them into admitting the fault.

" The politicians who aided this and gave advice, be it the President or the Finance Minister, should also bear responsibility for this crisis," MP Rahman added.
