COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister Namal Rajapaksa, who is currently engaging in a visit to Qatar, has met with H.E. Dr. Ali bin Saeed bin Smaikh Al Marri, Minister of Labour of the State of Qatar on Thursday (16).

The two dignitaries have discussed the welfare measures being taken regarding Sri Lankan migrant workers residing in Qatar.

Meanwhile, the President of Qatar Football Association, H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, met with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Sri Lanka, Namal Rajapaksa as well.

Their discussion had focused on the matters of development in football which are mutually beneficial to both nations.
