COLOMBO (News 1st); Foreign Minister (Professor) G. L. Peiris was appointed as the Acting Finance Minister, during the absence of Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa left the island on a private visit on earlier this week.
