COLOMBO (News 1st): A Mobile Vaccination Drive will be launched on Saturday (Nov. 27), to administer the booster dose against COVID-19 for citizens over the age of 60-years, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva, the Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) told News 1st. "Yesterday (26), at the Task Force Meeting, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa instructed that the Booster be given by a Mobile Vaccination Team, as we did in the past. So we will start the mobile vaccination for the age group of above-60 from today (27)," Army Commander noted. According to General Shavendra Silva, the Director-General of Health Services has already issued the relevant instructions to the Provincial Directors of Health in this regard.
