President agrees to make chemical fertilizer available for vegetables

COLOMBO (News 1st); Chemical fertilizer will be made available for vegetable cultivations in the future, says the Environment Minister Mahinda Amaraweera. Speaking at a program held in Anuradhapura today (20), Minister Mahinda Amaraweera stated that chemical fertilizer will be provided for vegetable cultivations in the future. Furthermore, the Minister of Environment said that he had discussed the issue of fertilizers and pesticides with the President as a Party, and the President agreed to provide chemical fertilizers and pesticides for vegetable cultivations.
