15,000 MT rice ordered from India

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Importer's Association of Sri Lanka says that 15,000 metric tons of rice has been ordered from India. Nihal Seneviratne, the Vice President of the Importers' Association, said that stocks of samba, kiri samba, white rice and nadu rice have been ordered from India. He added that the stock of rice is expected to reach the country within the next 14 days.
