COLOMBO (News 1st); The Prime Minister's Office says that an agreement was reached at a meeting of the leaders of the Sri Lanka Freedom Podujana Alliance to submit observations with regard to the cabinet paper on the controversial LNG power plant deal.
In a statement, the PM's office said that the relevant cabinet paper was discussed at length at the meeting yesterday (28).
In addition, the party leaders have also focused on the COVID-19 pandemic and the teacher-principal salary anomalies issue, the problems faced by the tourism industry, the development of the Eastern and Western Container Terminals, the monitoring of Government development activities, commodity prices, and organic farming as well as the fertilizer crisis.
