Fire breaks out at Aluthgama tourist resort

COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire broke out at a tourist resort in the Kalawilawatta area in Aluthgama last night (8). Police said that the fire was put out by the Kalutara Municipal Council officials with the assistance of the residents of the area. No casualties were reported from the fire, however the damage from the fire has not yet been assessed. Police is continuing further investigations into the incident.
