Local oxygen supply sufficient for current demand

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Health states that the daily oxygen capacity produced in Sri Lanka is sufficient for the number of COVID-19 patients who are currently hospitalized.

The Director of the Health Promotion Bureau, Specialist Dr. Ranjith Batuwantudawa stated that zero COVID deaths have been reported from the at-home treatment system.

There has also been a decline in calls directed to hotlines introduced for medical advice, he added.
