No Government was able to take the country forward: Amaraweera

COLOMBO (News 1st): None of the Governments which were appointed within the last 71 years have been able to take the country forward, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says.

Speaking to the media today (13), the Minister said that none of such Governments were able to save the country from the downfall.

" Even if the country was under SLFP, the UNP or even the JVP, they will not be able to take this country forward, and we have to accept this" he added.
