Cabraal to take up post of CBSL Governor?

COLOMBO;  The Daily Mirror reported that State Minister of Money, Capital Market, and State Enterprises Reform Ajith Nivard Cabraal had confirmed that he would take up the post of ‘Governor of the Central Bank’ on the invitation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa within the course of this week. The report on the DailyMirror added that State Minister Nivard Cabraal is reported to have sought the Governor post of the Central Bank with Cabinet status similar to countries such as China, Singapore, and Vietnam.
