Ex-Officer of Air Force arrested for threats on attacking an institution

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo Crimes Division arrested an ex-officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force for threatening to attack an institution in Colombo.

Police Spokesperson Senior DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st said a complaint was filed claiming that a foreign institution that works on International Relations faced a threat of being attacked.

He said the Copletty Police received a complaint on Friday (13) afternoon and the investigation was taken over by the Colombo Crimes Division.

The suspect identified as Keerthi Ratnayake was earlier dishonorably discharged from the Sri Lanka Air Force, said the Police Spokesperson
