Olympics 2021: USA in the lead with 113 medals

(News 1st); Athletes worldwide are now competing at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and so far, the USA has managed to gain a lead at the medals table with a total of 113 medals while China, Japan, and Great Britain follows closely behind with 88, 58, 65 and 71 total medals respectively. 

The medal table for Tokyo Olympics 2021 looks so far like such with the rankings;

Meanwhile, a team consisting of nine athletes qualified for the Olympics from Sri Lanka, however, the country has not obtained any medals.
