COLOMBO (News 1st); A 05-member committed by Sri Lanka Cricket has recommended to hand out 2 year bans each for Dhanushka Gunathilaka and Kusal Mendis while Niroshan Dickwella would be handed a ban of 18 months from all forms of Cricket.

In addition to the ban, the committee has recommended for the players to be fined 25,000 USD each.

The three players in question were suspended during the recently concluded Sri Lanka tour of England on charges of breaching the bio bubble.

A 05- member committee comprising Retired Judge Nimal Dissanayake, Counsel Panduka Keerthinanda, Asela Rekawa, Uchitha Wickremesinghe and Retired Major General M.R.W. De Soyza was appointed to conducted an inquiry over the matter.

The report of this inquiry committee will be presented to the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket on Friday (30) and based on the constitution of SLC, the Executive Committee will decided on whether the recommendations could be ratified in its original form.
