Colombo records 486 COVID cases in 24 hours; 1,604 COVID cases islandwide

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 1,604 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (21), said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

38 of these cases were those who tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from overseas.

Incidentally, the Colombo District recorded the highest number of 486 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (21).
